 Soccer World in partnership with the Warrior Nation will be a retailer of the 2007/08 Sunderland Home jersey starting in August. The jersey itself will be officially launched by Sunderland on Thursday, July 26th, and a shipment will arrive in the USA on August 1st. Soccer World should get its stock within one to two weeks after the shipment arrives. In order to get an idea of the level and variety of inventory that should be carried, we are asking those of you who are definitely interested in acquiring the jersey to submit your name, e-mail address and shirt size to sales@thewarriornation.com and you will be alerted as soon as the item is available. |

 I attended this seminar and must say it was an enjoyable experience, but as I would later remark, how IMPACTFUL could it be when NO ONE from the TTFF were present (I DID ask, and the Secretary/coordinator informed me that the TTFF were invited IN WRITING).
The Head table consisted of Clayton Morris,Larry Romany and David John Williams, later joined by the Institute representative, Gregorie Maguire, who served as facilitator. As far as participants, it was a small group, numbering about 20 at most. Some of the folks I recognized were Alison Ayres(FPATT), Peter O'Connor,Norris Ferguson, Rubadiri Victor, Lasana Liburd and the wife of Gally Cummings. I would later meet Pardners and Brown Sugar. |

 In partnership with Tribal Rhythm Nation (TRN), the Warrior Nation will be giving away 2 game tickets to see David Beckham and the LA Galaxy as they take on Toronto FC at BMO Field. In addition, 2 game tickets will be given for Toronto's game against Aston Villa. The LA Galaxy game is carded for Sunday August 5th at 4:30 PM and the Aston Villa game is scheduled for July 25th at 7:00 PM. |

 On Sunday 17th June, 2007, Warrior Nation member Duane "FF" Pena and I had the opportunity to visit Marvin Andrews for an hour at his father’s house in Brooklyn. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was that Marvin did not seem as physically imposing as his nickname conveyed. However, based on our meeting and his dedication to his country and football, “Big” is a truly fitting description of the man’s character. |
